摘要:
目的 探讨鼻咽癌(nasopharyngeal carcinoma,NPC)幸存者经济毒性现状并分析其影响因素。方法 2021年11月至2022年2月,便利抽样选取于南宁市某2所三级甲等医院放疗科门诊复查的220例NPC患者为研究对象,采用一般资料调查表、癌症患者报告结局的经济毒性量表、症状困扰量表、社会支持评定量表对其进行调查。结果 NPC幸存者经济毒性得分为18.00(13.00,25.00)分。多元线性回归显示,病程、住院次数、收入水平、症状困扰及社会支持是NPC幸存者经济毒性的主要影响因素(均P<0.05),可解释总变异的40.2%。结论 临床医护人员应重视NPC幸存者的经济毒性情况,多关注病程短、住院次数多、收入水平低的患者,通过降低患者症状困扰、提高社会支持,改善患者经济毒性,提高其生活质量。
Abstract:
Objective To analyze the current status of financial toxicity among nasopharyngeal carcinoma(NPC)survivors and its influencing factors.Methods From November 2021 to February 2022,220 NPC survivors who underwent re-examination at the radiotherapy outpatient clinic of two tertiary hospitals in Nanning were selected in this study.A demographics questionnaire,comprehensive scores for financial toxicity based on the patient-reported outcome measures(COST-PROM),and the M.D.Anderson Symptom Inventory for Head &Neck Module and Social Support Rating Scale were used for investigation.Results The financial toxicity score of the NPC survivors was 18.00(13.00,25.00).Multiple linear regression revealed that disease duration,number of hospitalizations,income level,symptom distress,and social support were the main influencing factors of financial toxicity among NPC survivors(all P<0.05),which explained 40.2% total variance.Conclusions Clinical healthcare workers should pay close attention to financial toxicity among NPC survivors,particularly in patients with short disease duration,high hospitalization frequency,and low income.By alleviating symptom distress and strengthening social support,financial toxicity can be reduced,and patient's quality of life may be improved.
